Since 2000, John Huddleston has been working to create the perfect jerky for his friends and family. John started by making his jerky to send to his buddy's son who was serving abroad. After sending jerky to his friends son, all of his military buddies wanted more! With what started as fun, a family business eventually grew to more dreams of owning a large jerky company. John decided to start Great American Jerky to serve the most flavorful, best quality jerky you will find on the market today. John takes pride in the quality of meat used and services around.

Great American Jerky offers USDA choice beef and turkey breast premium cut jerky selections. Each piece is hand sliced, marinated, dried and packaged by John to assure the finest quality jerky you won't be able to find anywhere else. Our jerky is Cowboy cut for easy snacking and more flavor packed into each strip. With different flavors to choose from, you will surely be able to find exactly what you've been craving. Our Beef flavors include Original, Spicy, Hot for those who like some heat, Teriyaki, Spicy Teriyaki and Hot Teriyaki. Our Turkey flavors include Teriyaki and Spicy Teriyaki. ​

 

Great American Jerky supports our military as our company was founded on the concept of sending care packages to our soldiers abroad and giving them a taste of home while they are away from their families! We thank all of our family and friends of those who are active duty serving in the Armed Forces and nothing puts a smile on our faces and theirs faster than receiving a care package that includes some comfort food like our jerky!

Great American Jerky was founded in California but John decided to move back to his home state of Indiana in 2016. Our shop is located in Greens Fork, Indiana.
